Welcome to Looe Rowing Club
Thanks for visiting our website which provides you with all you need to know about our club.
Looe Rowing Club is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The objects of the CIO are the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities, encouragement and instruction in the sport of rowing in particular Cornish Pilot Gigs, for the benefits of the inhabitants of Looe and surrounding areas.
The club rows throughout the year. In the summer we have two club training evenings in the week, with regattas most Saturdays. Through the winter we run ergo (rowing ergometer or rowing machine sessions) as well as rowing on the water at the weekends.
The club promotes both recreational and competitive rowing for all ages and prides itself in being part of the local community. The club runs taster sessions and holds Learn to Row courses during the year.
