Don’t forget to visit our BBQ and delicious cake stall

We will be launching and recovering boats from the Millpool Slipway which is situated at the far end of the Millpool Car Park, West Looe (Please be aware of the sharp bend as you turn off the main road to the car park). Members of Looe Rowing Club will be there to help launch and recover your boats and park your trailers.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT THROUGH THE MAIN TOWN

Please can you ensure that you have a Cox and at least 4 rowers to row your boat up the river to the beach. This will take approximately 10 minutes. We ask coxes to keep to the river channel and use the 2nd bridge archway from the left (east) as you head up towards the beach, follow the river up and around the Banjo Pier where club members will meet you. Be vigilant for other river users.

Millpool car park is a long stay Cornwall Council car park, starting next to the slipway (not within the boat park area) and a 10 min walk over the bridge to East Looe and the beach.

To enter the round the island races we ask for a £24 donation per crew, proceeds of this will go to the Looe defibrillator appeal to help maintain the various public access defibrillators around the town.

NO DOGS ALLOWED ON LOOE BEACH. However they are allowed on the seafront promenade and the beach at the east end of the walkway.

Refreshments, Race Head Quarters and First Aid can be located at the beach end of the Banjo Pier. Coxes meeting will be held at 10:45am at the head of the Banjo Pier.
First race will start at 11am in the order above.
Radio Channel 72, unless otherwise told.
